Meditations Defined:

  • Meditation is a practice where an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content.

Some things worth knowing about meditation.

One thing that gives away a person who meditates is the smoothness of their facial skin tone. The face looks very smooth, one could say quiet.

Meditation is typically done with eyes closed -- that's because you are sensing the world around you or activity in your own body.

During meditation you are asked to pay attention to your breathing or sounds you might hear.

The strength of your meditation increases in a group. Each person generates an energy field that is like an energy battery. The more batteries, the greater the potential.

Drumming or gong are sometimes used to deepen the meditative experience.

Guided meditation is just another way to instruct your Internal Intelligence of what to do. The more you meditate the more ways you pick up to increase your meditative experience.
