Mindfulness Defined:

  • The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.
  • A mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

Some Examples:

  1. You are driving a car, you are paying attention to the road.
  2. Things are going on around you but you are distracted by past memories, fantasies, or desires.

You are usually told to be aware of your feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. But how do you become aware of though's, feelings and body sensations?

You can take up meditation or you can develop your sensitivity through Interactive Mindfulness.

Not enough can be said about the benefits of mindfulness. It is used by people of all kinds of fields to deal with stress, life improvement, and ways to view yourself.
